I finally caved and bought Gleamin, a vitamin C clay mask that’s been up and down my Instagram feed. The mask claims to brighten skin and fade dark spots. Ingredients include turmeric, aloe vera, and detoxifying clay. Gleamin’s all-natural formulas consist of sustainable, ethically-sourced superfoods that are safe for all skin types.
I have been using the mask three times a week for optimal results. I must say, my face feels amazing! It’s soft and glowing. Plus, it’s super fun to put on. Check out my Gleamin video on Instagram to watch me put it on.
Now, let’s get down to what you really want to know: the cost! I’m not going to lie, the Gleamin clay mask does cost more than the products I usually recommend to you. It’s $40, but I think it’s well worth the cost. A little goes a long way with this product, so it will definitely last you a while.
I’ve used it three times already, and I still have a full jar. I like to spray my face with water before applying the mask so the product spreads more easily. It’s also good to use water to activate water-based products. I always apply my water-based products on damp skin.
Applying Your Gleamin Clay Mask
Be sure to leave your Gleamin clay mask on for 10 minutes, allowing it to dry. I know, I’m amazed that this mask works within 10 minutes. It’s so much more convenient than the other masks that require me to leave on for 30 minutes. Gleamin is so easy to wipe off too.
Yes, I still use my Differin skin care products to help fade my dark spots. Gleamin is just helping move the process along faster.
I apply hyaluronic acid afterwards for optimal hydration.
Let me know if you buy the product and how you like it. Tag me on Instagram wearing your Gleamin clay mask!
